Whats up with all these slots?

Not really liking it. Took a break from CRPG for 3ish weeks and came back to see some patches. Which is awesome...but now I can't even do my build anymore which was a hybrid from cavalry/pole arm/crossbow.

Now I'm stuck to pretty much use 1 weapon the whole time? What fun is that? Maybe it is to others but for me I need to be doing different stuff - different playstyles. Not to mention how long it takes to level up its not even worth it.

I can't even use my polearm and crossbow /w bolts.

Is this staying like this? or am I just not understanding this...even tho it seems pretty straight forward. If so I won't be finding myself playing this mod much anymore if any at all.

NO THIS IS NOT A WHINE THREAD - I just prefer hybrid instead of the game 2hand/polearm/whatever your doing EVERY single round till you gen.

Take a 2 slots polearm, a 1 slot crossbow and 1 quiver, that's an hybrid, i guess it's intended, you can't have best weapon in every category, you must make some choice.
Dedicated polearm will have bigger or 2 polearm.
Dedicated xbowman will have 2slots sniper xbow, 2 quivers and 1 zero slot weapon.

Crossbows say it takes 2 slots though o.O

Nvm only the last 2 do.

Hvy xbow takes 2 slots, normal xbow 1 slot. But yeah, it takes some adjusting, my cav and ha had no 1 slot side arms so i had to buy stuff and fiddle around. After you get used to it though it makes sense.

esp. since people can still run around with 2h/pole hybrids and just xbow- and mainly archer- hybrids got screwed.
