Horse Thrower

I'm looking for a good javelin Horse thrower/shielder build and the wpf in both throwing and polearm.

I'm thinking 15/21 with 5 throwing, 5 power strike, 5 iron flesh, 7 riding, 5 shield, 3 Horse archery.

Any builds can help, thanks.

Needs weapon mastery in there somewhere. I'd say cut a couple off of iron flesh/riding (depending on what the difficulty of the horse you want is) and put them into Weapon mastery.

But, I'm no pro :p Someone else can probably give you better advice.

I'm going for 5 riding to have the average riding skill and have about 4 weapons master. Maybe have 4 iron flesh and add 1 athletics

I say, if you have the funds for extra gear, try a skip the fun to work on various builds since you can keep respeccing it. Find out what works best for you.

You CANNOT transfer items away from it, however, but you can give it items.

horse thrower is great for hunting other cav. Id say max out riding before any other skill, u dont want those angered riders catching up with u

IF is useless since you will be limited with equipment (you don't want to suffer wpf penalties from heavy equipment). More points in wm and ha and max riding.

If you really want riding, powerstrike, shield AND throwing, then you'll have to sacrifice attribute points. 15/18 or 18/15 are doable (I got a HA similar, just IF instead of shield that).

This build here is a good HT build. Nice damage and the pole wpf let's you pick up a lance if you run out of ammo while mounted, fight with the melee mode of the throwing lance (really good melee weapon) or pickup a long axe/poleaxe if you get dismounted and survive it. Low athl, but that's what you have to sacrifice for horse throwing.
