Gunna check that out. MY gf is Lithuanian and Ive been there a few times. when I saw them taking over shit in the video i thought 'no fucking way LT was bossing that massive area'!

however, where is Island and Færøerne (the Faroe Islands) in the video? they are also part of the north/europe. would be interesting to have them there as well eventho not much have happend :p

One thing I don't think is very accurate is that Castille and France weren't centralized enough to be considered "one independent country" before at least 1300. Not as clusterfucky as Germany for sure, but not one big blob either.

I'm reading Sagas of the Icelanders (Íslendingasögur) at the mo and wanted to see that too. Iceland would have pretty much just solidly been Iceland though right?

The videos are saturated with inaccuracies and broad generalizations like that - often a necessary evil on historical maps in general.

Cool videos though, I love historical maps, they are one of the most accessible keys to world history.
