Running speed and elevation

Decrease the ridiculous speed penalty when moving over or up elevated terrain?

As it has always been in WB you lose all momentum from just a few centimeters elevation, be it a small change in terrain or floor tile in a castle interior or one of the cartoon hills we have so many of on the battle maps. I'm not saying players should sprint around on all surfaces, but something less awkward and unrealistic would be welcome.

Agreed. This is the type of thing that should be done to mitigate ranged, not direct nerfs.

Really, only a handful of people find this annoying? A bit surprising considering the many times I've heard this discussed on various TS.

it would be nice if it was more of a -x=y equation when it came to terrain. instead one slow speed for all inclined terrain make it a 1 to 1 value according to the elevation. (ie: 1 unit elevation= -1 unit of run speed)

I get this bug all the time and makes my 7 athletics quite useless when I'm sprinting and suddenly, for no reason, I get slowed down on a flat terrain with no obstacles in the way.

i agree with this, it pisses me off when i run like sloth when running DOWN the hill. i mean come on i should be faster, not slower.

i have literally no faith in the devs to pull this change off without massively messing up the game

please don't implement this
