The only "progression-tree" they showed is... a dual choice. If that's the RPG side of it... wahou.
The fast-paced combat, is actually close-quarter right at the beginning. Because for them, all the movements is jut boring. For me, placements is a must have in those tactical RPG. If it's useless, they might as well revert to the 2D turn per turn.
