Lvl31 Thrower build

I am currently lvl30 with the following build:

Attribute points:2
Strength:15
Agility:21
Weapon points:40
One Handed:110+
Throwing:120+

Skill points:2
Weapon Master:6
Athletics:7
Power Strike:5
Power Throw:5

Soon I will hit 31 and I could either go 18/21 or 15/24 with 3 skill points left.

I use MW Heavy Throwing Axes most of the time, but use all other weapons too from time to time. Dont really know if I should go for Str or Agi. Any of the throwers have some suggestions?

Thx

Go for 6PT. You already have more than enough wpf in throwing for it, assuming you're either using medium or low armour.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

No. Felt Hat, Leather Apron, Mail Gauntlets and Hunter Boots. Was going for a "butcher look" with the axes

With 18 Str I could also go for 6PS which is also nice with the 36 cut damage in melee mode... hmmm I never thought about the melee capabilities of this one...

As you seem to have invested in melee I would go

18/21

Weapon Master:6
Athletics:7
Power Strike:6
Power Throw:6
Iron fest:1 (depending on what level you are going to)

7 athletics is already pretty high so I think the extra PS and PT will have more effect than any more agility

i have nearly the same build atm , but with the aspect of pure ht ..ride or die ...all wpf in throwing (163 wpf .. rather too much , i wear nearly all time light-middle stuff -  i'll try 120 wpf in throwing & 130 in xbow for dtv , strat & for some variety in playstyle at next gen. but definitely no hx, even if i could ) :

lvl 30 - Skills to attributes: 2

Strength: 15
Agility: 21

Throwing: 163 wpf

Athletics: 7
Riding: 7
Horse Archery: 3
Power Throw: 5
Weapon Master: 7

i can understand you ..tricky to choice , both are nice 18/21 & 15/24.

i played for 2 gen's with unloomed throwing axes , unmounted ..no horse, 1 without shield & 1 gen with a shield & in both ways i had around 125 wpf in throwing & 5 pt. absolutely enough wpf & pt (accuray, speed & dmg) for every kind of axe's even with equip around 22-25 kg ...still deadly. & with 5 pt you can use still jarid's if you want some variety - & they doin' also very nice dmg even with 5 pt.

i myself prefer jarid's over throwing spears (6pt - 18 str.)  , doesn't matter if mounted or not .. i don't like them in general. throwing lance's are way too much str needed for my taste .. sure deadly as hell, but maybe somewhat for me on lvl 33-34.

so ... if you like your axes & (eventually) jarid's like me , go 15/24 ... then:

- you can have 7-8 wm too .. more wpf as a hybrid is always good (more at 1h maybe?)
- athletics as the same as wm

- maybe you want horsethrowing too ? .. 3 riding with palfrey is really not that bad , you don't need really ha for accuracy,  if you use the combination & advantages of speed accelerate/brake & to throw in righteous moment's.
- or maybe you wanna use a shield ? 3 shield isn't that bad with a plain board shield example (6 weight = 1 slot - 3 slots free for axes ..fit's very well as 1h/thrower).

otherwise .. you'll go 18/21 , as i wrote above ...wm/wpf is good enough with 21 agi & 7 ath is great .. not much differently compared to 8 ath.  ..then:

- you can have 6 pt ...noticeable more dmg (sometimes i miss 6 pt). - 120+ wpf is also enough with 6pt & 'round 20 kg armor.
- you can have 6 ps too .. always nice to have.

..but you got 1 skillpoint left then , 1 if with 18 str.. sure , buff's your hp-pool ..but minimal useful , or save up for lvl 32+.

well ... if you plan to level up i would go 18/21 first ..then 18/24 - if not ...15/24. but yes .. both ways are useful , but personally i would choice 15/24.

that's just a viewpoint from my experience as a passioned thrower , but i hope i can help you a bit to decide.

lg, braxli.

absolutely ... so 18/21 !  :)

Well thanks a lot for opinion guys, that went fast.

I used shield with this one before but respecced cuz shield + throwing just sucked. Slows down a lot and I feel it takes a lot longer to switch from throwing to melee mode.

I have a lot less than 20kg of weight, with my gear its around 2kg, not counting any modifiers (mail gauntlets are 0,5kg so they count as more towards throwing wpf, but dunno exactly).
I'll definitely not go horse throwing, I got 2 other alts with horses, they eat money away quite fast.

The last skill point I will just save, I'm only retiring with my main, I dont plan to reset this guy ever so I'll just keep going up.

STR definatly. I have 9PT and it still feels not like enough.
