Europa Universalis 3 Problem

Whenever I try playing this game my computer crashes. I have to play it on a bad laptop to play it. I run Guild Wars 2 and M&B fine but I can't play this 2D game? Help meeee... please......................

Google it?? just google "Europa Universalis 3 crashes ******" fill in the stars with the point the game crashes at, i.e intro screen/loading screen or whatever.

I've tried googling my problem but can't find anyone with the same problem.

It crashes within 20 seconds, a few minutes, etc...

No the screen turns a different color with lines usually and the computer restarts or I have to press the button.

Well apparently this guy on Steam who is a mod or something is helping me. He said to update the driver, which I did (and it still crashes) and to run SpeedFan tests before and after starting the game, but I'm not really sure how to work it.

I'm so annoyed I payed *five dollars* for this game and I have to play it on some stupid laptop instead of my computer -_______-

You can install steam onto other computers and play the games on those computers.

Umm whatever came with the Bundle... I guess Divine Wind and Heir to the Throne? I don't run the game on those I just click on EU3 if that makes a difference or not.
