Buff War Axe & Battle Axe [Never used 2H weapons]

those two axes [Battle Axe / War Axe] damage / speed is just not worth getting them, the two handed war axe is 7 speed (which is a massive amount of speed) faster, only slightly shorter and only slightly lighter, for only slightly less damage

perhaps the speed of these axes could be buffed by 2 or 3 points so they actually have a use in the game?

I agree that the axes should be viable, I think they are intended as low-end axes for new players, being 1.3, 2.7K.

yeah, just to be clear i'm not asking for a 2h buff, i'm just saying that these two particular weapons are utterly useless as they are now and could perhaps do with a slight speed increase in the next patches

battle axe was recently buffed at the last patch. I think its cut damage was increased by 4.

They're fine as it is, Persian Battle Axe loses 4 speed for 2 cut and 1,2 more weight, and persian battle axe isn't unused, it's a great cheap 2her.

:/ compare the stats of the two handed war axe with the war axe and the battle axe ... it's so much faster for practically the same damage :/

49 cut combined with 9 ath is an okay trade for weapon speed imo.

They are really just cav weapons or shield breaker sidearms.

Well, they are dirt cheap. And war axe actually has 46cut, while highest raw damage in the game is 48c on Persian Battle Axe. And war axe costs only 2772 gold.

Persian battle axe is the highest cut dmg weapon in the game btw.
