Don't get sad, get glaad.
If you've ever played M&B: Napoleonic Wars, you know how easy to abuse that system is. Dead people get bored and map change poll just so they don't have to wait. And as mentioned, people hate every map so there'll be a poll all the time. It's just not worth it.
Why should there be in your opinion anyway?
