You can also make money without changing armor. Just try to limit your upkeep around 2k.

Actually it would probably better if you inversed the entire thing. Because if you are at x1 your team is losing. If everyone would drop down to gambesons as you advice on an already losing team, it would never win again. If your team is losing, you should gear up to enhance its ability to win, when your team is winning you can go run around in your gambeson.

In any case, I think this is a pretty useless idea. Much better advice would be to stick around 40k worth gear always to break even or gain slightly, stick around 30k gear worth for good income. Your x4 gear allows anyone to gain some pretty good cash if used all the time.

^ Well I do see your point, but this guide is mostly for BEGINNERS who as you may know do not start of with 40k worth of gear. They start off in peasants shits and get 1 hitted.  They need to save money and make money to buy that kind of gear.

This is exactly what I used to do.  I still do it once in a while considering I am still poor after 2 years.

Applying your guide, it's gonna be tough to explain the beginners that playing one generation takes a week minimum (if you got a life), and in a masterwork item, there are 3 loompoints, so 3 weeks of playtime. Now make all your stuff on the list you provided masterwork, for each multi an own set. Too lazy to calculate how long this would gonna take. Go, math geeks!

If you are new , I would say you have to loom a medium/usual gear (never loom a full plate gear first).
