heh, he raged he was quitting 2 weeks ago and yet still got on. He makes that post and really gets angry and finally quits.

Either way, he's gone for good, but boy you shoulda heard how angry he was last night for that mute. Felt like the world ended, a second time. First was xbow night. Boy was that a rage night there.(others 2, but he's pretty loud for an old man)

Also, cmp, there's no "Nice Try". He literally said that the mute made him finally quit.

You make a thread saying the mod is shit and you want to quit, I fully expect a dev to grant your wish and make it easier for you to make a graceful exit.

I make threads bitching sometimes, but I tend to balance it with my perspective on good design changes in the future, or highlight the good parts of the mod that we already have, since its still a pretty fun game and nice to see it develop as much as it has over the past couple years, and you can bet the devs end up reading most of the posts people make up in here anyways (I think many of us have more playtime on the forums then the game anymore).

Basically, I've been muted like 80 percent of the time for the past six months, deal with it :sunglasses:

I think he quit because the released a patch about that stuff 1 year AFTER he had been playing his class 20 gens. He found what he liked, and kept going with it, and then they made it utterly impossible to play what he liked. 

Also, if you count arrows as a kiting HX, you have never played with arrows. He's probably the only HX who would rarely, if ever kite. But meh, him getting muted with the message: "You're a twat" finally made him go: "Fuck it, I'm done."

He adapted to all the nerfs, he was getting used to a buckler while still maintaining his loadout and trying new things. But then he made that post, got muted and said, "Enough is enough!" and has put all looms in armory and left. Even though everyone keeps trying to tell him not to.

I've seen him fighting a team 1v10 using every single one of his bolts before engaging in a pathetic melee attempt, only to die FAR too many times to not count him as a kiting hx.

So he attempts to whittle down the enemy numbers a little before dismounting, and you think that's a bad move?  A HX kiter typically fires, and runs away, without ever getting close to the enemy.  When Anders spoke about him not being a kiter, he was referring to the fact that Release gets in close, and isn't afraid to stay close.  He also busts out his sword more than most ranged cav.

Shoulda used the Spathion then when it got nerfed just switch to the best 0 slot one hander. Which wouldn't be hard to do at all, since there is a f*** ton now. Release arrows is honestly the only HX I tolerated.
