QMD Changes map

Since the polls are sometimes disabled, maybe you could make it so QMD changes the map. Let's say in the for 30 seconds of a map (before the first tick so there are no tears) 50% of the players vote QMD the map changes automatically, plus you can use that data to actually see what maps are downvoated the most and adjust map rotation accordingly.

Would be nice, but we would have to make people aware that the QMD/QMU even exists.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

In addition, when it gets around half of the needed vote, it could send a server message saying "X people has voted to change map" or something.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Having a message for EVERY person who QMD's would just be annoying. with 60+ people on, 20 people QMD at the beginning. Too much chatspam then.

Actually, I think making QMD and QMU actually have a direct effect on the map would make them much more visible and people would naturally use them more.

No, not every person, just a message informing you the vote has started, not the kind of aggresive message you have for polls, I was thinking more in terms of Pink text in chat that says player XX started a vote to change map and that's it, you know people are voting so you can vote or leave it alone if you wish to play the map. It wouldn't be allowed on every round as I said only on the first round of the map.

QMD and QMU system hasn't worked whatsoever for ages, but it's a good idea. Though I am afraid that getting the devs to do anything is hard these days.

1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

For all the non-believers, look no further than this thread for proof that while strat battles are won/lost in NA3/EU3, strat wars are won and lost on the forums.

Forgive me I do tend to look at things from a Battle point of view since I only play that, but hey if those 3 maps are what people want to play let them choose and if they vote let them play it.
