Give the coolest looking polearm it's old stats (less cut - it was ~37c in the old days or 36(don't remember), slightly less stab, less speed, 4 direction attack). Remove shieldbreaking if you want, too. It was the funniest and best looking support weapon ever - now we have to use the peasantly looking fauchard if we want a properly long polearm (which is actually even more effective at stopping horses because it can be used with shield).
