Agreed, it was kind of a "Fail" on my end. I went off of what I saw in game, and didn't bother reading the retirement screen. But still, no help has arrived and that irks me even more than the fact that this kind of 'bug' or whatever you want to label it exists. It's basically lag between the server and what you see on the website.
