Fix broken random horse spawns

Can we get someone to acknowledge of fix Cav randomly spawning, specially on the OPPOSITE side of the battlefield, and even feet away from ENEMY spawns?

Spawning camping spawn flags that you can bind to is one thing, but random spawns that have no logical positioning at all that your teammates cannot help/defend/reclaim you is completely different.


Better to make friendly cav spawn in and crush teammates than have enemies spawn 5 ft from your flags

got no clue why devs haven't fixed it yet, this one has been here since the beginning of strat 3.

It's annoying as hell for cavalry.  The fix that I've seen work (in game) is to set your flag to your spawn and you will typically spawn there (i've seen bugs where you still will spawn next to enemy spawn, maybe if your flag gets taken?).

It makes the spawn easily campable by the enemy, or it makes it so cavalry can surprise the enemy.  Either scenario is not good.

Would be nice to have this acknowledged, and a fix would be ideal

You could ALSO just have all of your cav NOT spawn the first death and THEN spawn cav. That works, until flag is captured then they have to do your method.

That would work, but is pretty ghetto.  At least the defender's cavalry can do what I suggest and set their spawn flag to the actual infantry spawn.   Most of the time you're going to want cavalry on the first spawn, not after the battle has already been going on.

i play as cav and experiance this as well. I ussualy go to our spawns and ,pick one of our flags as respawn but i still respawn in random places(i do it while dismounted), nowehere near flag i choose.
