Random black screens

[In Cauda Venenum]

Lately on NA_1, I've been getting random black screens.
As far as I can tell, they're permanent and there's no way to get back into the game without losing my multi.
When it's black screen, I can still swing and I can hear the battle going on but like I said, it's just a black screen, alt tabbing doesn't fix it.

Nothing's changed on my end and there doesn't seem to be a trigger for it, would appreciate some help or a fix.

Edit: Alright, it seems to be triggered whenever I press shift, which is my zoom key. NOPE, HAPPENS REGARDLESS
There doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut/toggle for it so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Same here. Never had these before the latest update. Only way to fix is to kill the process. :S

same problem here, with nvidia gtx 650. I had driver problem only one time, but i have several black screens...

It's happening more and more frequently, i can't play 2 minutes before crashing sometimes

Same with me. I tried several driver versions. Always the same. There is no rule that i can find to having these driver crashes. I suspect that chinese armor. Last time my driver crashed i saw that armor glitching. But as i said im not sure if thats the problem...

confirming as an nvidia user, sometimes its fine, sometimes i can't play more then 10 minutes without this black screen, cmp plz fix

it's been going on for quite a while now, not sure what to do.
might be fixed soon, now that godlord smoothrich is on the case, if he can do anything about it.

Srsly, this is becoming rly annoying... I play native Warband and never have driver crash. I play Mercenaries mod that never crashes, i play Diplomacy + PBOD and it never crashes. I play other games, use graphic edit programs and never crash... I cant play this mod properly... I really just want an approximate eta on patch... If im asking for much then never mind this post.
