Yea, I felt bad, didn't know you lost all of your troops when you retreat from battles (before the fight), so I gave him 65k and 65 troops, all I could spare.

You lose all your troops when you retreat, no matter when it happens.  If you retreat during a battle and have 300 troops left, you will have 0 troops afterwards.  I really don't like the system, but I've heard some good arguments as far as why they do it this way (rather than the way it was in the past where you kept a % of troops left).

But the fact you still keep a lot of gear seems really dumb.  if you have 0 troops and 1000 crates worth of gear, you're obviously a sitting duck to be attacked again.  I'd propose that you don't get any gear either if you retreat.

Wasn't a retreat, he cancelled battle like 30 mins after attack and you still lose everything which I think is something not many people are aware of.

Oh my mistake then, yeah I don't think many people are aware of that.  Would be nice if it had better wording for when you cancel or "retreat" from a battle.  Both of them should say "Surrender all your men" or something like that.  Do you know if you lose most (or all) of your equipment if you cancel a battle?

He kept all of his gear! Losing your troops for canceling battles is pretty stupid, you should be able to cancel an attack; if it's within a hour of the battle being initiated with no penalty.

Ps: typed with my phone so there could be mistakes.

If anything it would make more sense if you kept all troops but lost gear, like your party abandoned their camp/supply train and ran off.

If I'm a vassal of FCC, does that make me the family pet?

So, back to important issues, is Artyem the cat or the dog? :D

A cat would be slightly more independent, and a dog would be slightly more dependent.  So, obviously I'm the family dog since I'm such a close vassal and I rely on their troops, gold and players.
