Can't use bow and armor I just bought.

I was using the bow earlier today before the patch, now I can't.  Also I can't equip the armor I just bought.  I noticed that these both have "difficulty" on them; 2 for the bow and 6 for the armor.  What does this mean?  And if this is what the problem is, how was I using the bow earlier?

As it is I just spent a ton of experience buffing my archery skill only to have be unusable suddenly.

Weapons: Polearms, One handed and Two handed and Crossbows, Difficulty = Strength
Armours: Difficulty = Strength
Bows = Difficulty = Power Draw

so how much Power Draw and Strength you got?
