Upkeep / Gear Cost

I was just wondering now that (I think) the boosted gold as well as xp has ended, what people's total gear cost is and if they lose/gain money or roughly break even.

I personally play cav...*pauses for hate*...and have for most of my generations. With the consistent nerfs to horses and the Heavy Lance, I've decided to change my build up a little bit and want to roughly break even for money which I used to aim for around 37k. It's always confused me how some people can run an armoured horse and heavy armour as well as multiple weapons, it must cripple their gold severely.

Think of this as some form of census which I'd love people to take part in. Obviously chance comes into play a little bit with if you're making or losing money but if I get enough data back I may decide to do something mathsy with it.

Sell loompoint. Don't give a fuck about upkeep.

I hate this point of view..

The loompoint at the origin, are a reward for reaching lvl 31, and allow the player to improve a weapon.

Sell loompoint to play a class that player like is stupid.
The player loses his loompoint and ends up with a bunch of money he lost in the next generation.

Result: a generation for anything apart for use the class you want..

This is a heavy price to pay compared to other classes.
Especially to play a class that is more and more nerfed.

This mod is supposed to be done so that your character can evolve, but sell loompoint can just be constant.

but anyway, I guess you are that kind of person who says that the upkeep is fine or the cavs are op, they need to be nerf and loose all their gold... like always..

I play with fairly cheap gear so I can save money and buy more loompoints.

Does my score suffer from this? Yes. Do I care? No.

I enjoy the grind for money and generations since the long term building of my characters is what I like. I believe a +3 loomed item gives around 7-8% increase in overall efficiency. If you stack such bonuses along with a few levels above 30 you gain a rather noticable advantage to other players. This is of course only after months of game play. "Wasting" your looms on selling them for upkeep removes this opportunity for progress.

I'm not saying that sort of game play is wrong because personal preferences varies but personally I prefer to hoard, scrimp, save and care bear as much as possible.

Keep in mind how much easier it is to get valour with an armored horse, where bumps alone account for > 50% of total damage done on the battlefield.
"As you gaze upon the cross, and long for conformity to him, be not weary or fearful because you cannot express in words what you seek. Ask him to plant the cross in your heart. Believe in him, the crucified and now living one, to dwell within you, and breathe his own mind there."

MW Long espada, Thick heavy round, Nordic conical helm, heraldic mail (the cheapest one), mail mittens and splinted leather greaves over mail (I use a secondary weapon when I have a multi) 32k with secondary weapon. I usually make a little bit of money, but not much and if I am having an unlucky day I can burn through a lot of cash on my long espada. I find it a bit ridiculous my 1h sword costs more to repair then a great maul and most 2h especially considering I have to pay for a sheild and 2h is the most op class.

Well, this doesn't look good for you. Four team kills - definitely intentional, Appeared to be afk more than once in the video. Also kicking people off of walls is grieving! don't do it.... but ill let you off with a warning this time, only because I don't like largos anyway.
