if the majority of players would not be so greedy and just grind one or two maps all the time, i would enable map voting and hurting the virgin in any way would be a bannable offense. on the other hand the rotation at this date is composed of 102 maps. they differ a lot in difficulty depending on the player number aswell as their builds and personal skill. so different teams perform differently on the same map.
these are the only reasons why it is actually tolerated the change to map by killing the virgin if the majority votes for a change. but keep in mind that you should start such a vote when everyone is alive, at start of a round, so you can see everyone voting. for all that still dont know: dead people cannot talk to those who are alive. so basically a vote in dead chat is invalid.
i just want to remind you that this is not a specific rule either. there might be a rule forbidding this at any time in future, but it will be announced aswell. so if you did not play for a while reassure you are up to date.
if by any chance there is someone banned although the majority agreed, just contact us and we can check it out. but be damn sure it was not just one or two guys spamming "yes" or "1".
