Just opened the site and saw the countdown timer.  Made me realize how much I enjoy the way you guys manage this mod.  Not only did you create a game which I love playing (the only game I actually play in 10 years),  but you manage the whole thing around it in a way that shows that you guys are having as much fun as we do.

Thanks for the countless hours of free work,  enduring our bitching like a boss,  creating a platform on which I have met many cool people and learned new things and a really great game.

By barely ever playing their own creation, but I agree with the sentiment. All minor nuisances aside, this mod is still the best thing I have ever played and nothing quite compares.

I think most developers enjoy the development more than actually playing it. Certainly is the case for me at least.

Of course this means I like playing cRPG a lot.


But I kind of understand why most devs don't play that much. You develop a special relationship with the game/mod you developped yourself, which kinda makes it not that great to play. Maybe it's because you already "play" a lot while testing it.
