How much money do you loose per gen as cav?

I am first gen but when I retire I was planning on going cav second gen but I want to know how much money I will be loosing for that generation.
I will be selling my loompoint obviously but I would be quite dissapointed if I burnt away 400k+ of gold.
Currently I run around with 27Ks worth of equipment and have been able to make money from this.

My equipment:

However as cav for next gen I wanted to throw these items into the mix:
(click to show/hide)

Sadly these items all together would mean I'd be riding around in just under 100Ks worth of equipment :( How much money out of say 400K would dissapear roughly?

What equipment do you ride around in?
How much money do you loose on average per generation as cav?
Perhaps you personally make money instead? Again if so how much?

I see people run around on plated chargers and full plated armour and so there build must cost atleast 200K+... Are they able to afford this all on one loompoint?

that horse combined with that armour will cost you tons of gold, never did a count up because I could not be arsed.
Its allot, take a low upkeep horse and learn how to play as a cav.
there is no point in wasting you're loompoint if you do not know how to play as a cav.

Seriously, take a rouncey and get the basics.
There are so many good cav out there these days that you will be eaten alive.
What build are you going for?
If you need some help lets meet and ill try to give you some basic tips.

On my gear loadout that's right around 50k total gold, I was losing about 50k (on average) a generation.   But that varies a lot, sometimes you can lose a shit ton of money in a night, other times you may make a couple thousand or break even.  After playing a few hours, I've never made over 2 or 3k total with that gear loadout.

My first couple gens I had to jump off my horse for a night or two to get back up to the 10-20k mark.  On my first and 2nd gen I never had more than 20k tops, I was usually riding my horse with 10-15k.

I'd suggest as cavalry to sell your first loompoint and try to buy your horse in a +1 from the market and pocket 100k or so gold profit from the transaction, and still have a +1 horse.  That 100k should easily last you til your 3rd gen, and hopefully til your 4th (so you can use the next two heirlooms to +3 your horse).

*OFFTOPIC* Awesome signature buba, that's one of my favorite movies :D (for those that don't know, Disney's Robin Hood)
