« on: December 16, 2012, 04:41:20 am »
Constant purposeful teamwounding along with his clanmate, because he doesn't like to be called DrDumbento

Demento's a rager, and sure enough he was doing some teamwounding, but it probably bears checking the logs. While the flaming and alienation he was receiving isn't against the rules, it is rude and unwarranted from my subjective position. Also of note, there were multiple instances of poll abuse against Demento prior to and during this.

None of those polls were initiated by me or anyone in my clan. Calling him Dumbento shouldn't be responded with blatant teamwounding

I didn't say they were, and I'm sorry if it that was the inference taken; the logs will show who was posting them, though, so no worries. I agree with you, the idea that his response to the text based abuse shouldn't be to take a shot at the guy saying those things is the right idea. I've got to say, however,  people can be more fragile than you give them credit for, and that kind of constant badgering isn't really conducive to people enjoying the game, it's pretty tiring.

Your a joke lorden, demento didnt anything wrong during the whole night, it was purely accidental. You and all other MB was flaming him and insulting him during the whole night on the other hand. Also multiple poll abuse by various different player was running during the whole night also.

Once again, votes against him had nothing to do with me or mine, so stop trying to muddy the waters of clear-cut intentional teamwounding. Noone insulted him, we asked him when he intented to get good, and if he had finally 'warmed up' enough to kick our ass. If he can't take that kind of friendly trash-talk, he should mute his chat instead of attacking teammates.

It's questionable certainly, given the relatively quick repetition of teamwounds.  However I'm giving DrDemento a warning instead of a ban and here's why:

- DrDemento looks to have a clear ban history, and has been around for long time.
- The screenshot has enemies and friendlies alike in it, and it's possible that this could have been in the middle of battle
- The above point is reinforced by the fact you got team wounded by another person in the midst of being hit by DrDemento.  Walls in siege are often clusterfucks.

This is not declaring DrDemento innocent - at best you need to watch your swings, and at worst you're getting away with some intentional team wounding due to questionable evidence.  However I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt this time.  Regardless of what happened in game, team wounding is never an acceptable response.
