The Assasination Of Julius Caesar - Those of wealth and nobility didn't like the man of the people.
The July 20 Plot - Assassination attempt on H1tler (forum censorship) to try and overthrow the Naz1 (forum censorship) regime.
The Business Plot - Alleged political conspiracy in 1933. Retired Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler claimed that wealthy businessmen were plotting to create a fascist veterans' organization and use it in a coup d'etat to overthrow United States President Franklin D. Roosevelt. In 1934, Butler testified to the Special Committee on Un-American Activities Congressional committee on these claims. In the opinion of the committee all these allegations were credible.
MKUltra - In the 1950s to the 1970s, the CIA ran a mind-control project aimed at finding a “truth serum” to use on communist spies. Test subjects were given LSD and other drugs, often without consent, and some were tortured. At least one man, civilian biochemist Frank Olson, who was working for the government, died as a result of the experiments. The project was finally exposed after investigations by the Rockefeller Commission.
The Tuskegee Experiment - as a result the National Research Act was passed in 1974 which closed a loophole that made it legal for scientists to kill their human research subjects:

For example, among many others, the Washington Post, New York Times, Newsweek, were all paid by the CIA to print false information as part of propaganda campaigns.
Iran–Contra affair - During the Reagan administration, senior administration officials secretly facilitated the sale of arms to Iran, the subject of an arms embargo.
The Watergate Scandal - 1970s as a result of the June 1972 break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C., and the Nixon administration's attempted cover-up of its involvement. The scandal eventually led to the resignation of Richard Nixon, the President of the United States, on August 9, 1974, the only resignation of a U.S. President.
The Nayirah Testimony - 1990, controversial testimony given before the non-governmental Congressional Human Rights Caucus on October 10, 1990, by a female who provided only her first name, Nayirah. She stated that Iraqi soldiers had murdered babies by taking them out of their incubators. Her testimony was regarded as credible, cited by numerous Politicians and corroborated by Amnesty International and evacuees that fled. Following the invasion of Kuwait, reporters found that the story was untrue and in 1992 it was revealed that Nayirah's last name was al-Ṣabaḥ and that she was the daughter of Saud bin Nasir Al-Sabah, the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States. Furthermore her testimony was organized, via CIA (including acting lessons) as part of the Citizens for a Free Kuwait public relations campaign which was run by the Kuwaiti government.
BCCI banking scandal - It took 21 years and $656m (£415m) of fees paid to two firms of lawyers and accountants but on the
17th of May 2012 files were finally closed on the banking scandal that was the Bank of Credit and Commerce International. It ranged from arms trafficking to prostitution and ended with a $20bn collapse.
Operation Gladio - Initiated in Europe during the Cold War, its purpose was to continue anti-communist actions in the event of a Soviet invasion and conquest. The term is also used as an informal name for all stay-behind organizations, sometimes referred to as "Super NATO". Non-NATO countries known to run the same type of operations: Austria, Cyprus, Finland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland. Area of operations: various forms of coup d'état , bombings of its own citizens, massacres, assassinations, smuggling, elaborate propaganda.
Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh - 1984, a cult sprinkled salmonella bacteria on Oregon restaurant salad bars, sickening 750 people.
You can go on for hours and hours with no end in sight, hundreds of years back, for example the settlers intentionally gave Natives infected food and otherwise to exterminate them for their land, a plot derived from the top installations of the governments of its time, even thousands, as soon as human civilizations started to record data they wrote about people plotting for power and control. We're different today why? Our educational system is hugely outdated and built upon a framework from 200 years ago. The only actual change today in our culture and norms is the internet, because it allows for free information sharing.
Pick up a history book some time,
the tube isn't all there is to life. Plus this stuff is much more interesting than any fiction.
