Use own banner

Just out of curiosity, if I were to make my own banner, how would I go about sending it to someone in the registry so I could use it?

I wanted to make one for a fun little Alt, and he would kind of be based around the banner, but it wouldn't be offensive and whatnot in any way. It would be an easy banner to make, so I could do it myself.

Once you have made it (to the correct format, size etc.) you have to win an auction for a custom banner slot. Then in your clan; select clan banner as being the slot you just won, then upload your file. Finally, select your banner in-game as clan's banner.
On a side note, not sure if you know this but many people don't; banners get reversed in-game for some reason, keep this in mind .
