So why don't we just make money lootable? I fail to see how that's exploitable and never understand why it wasn't allowed to be looted...don't run around with gold on you unless you're willing to take the risk...seems logical to me.
As I understand, if you siege and take a fief, you get the gold in the fief, correct? So it kind of defeats the purpose of using a fief for a type of a "bank" if it's safer to hold the money on a person (since it's not lootable).
Personally I think gold should be 100% lootable (like equipment), and if you want your gold to be "more safe", store it in a fief (like a castle or city). So if someone ninja sells goods in your fief and has nothing but gold on them, there's nothing you can do to try and recoup your losses...what a sweet system.
And I still think you should remove the fief information being readable from anywhere on the map, you should have to be "within eyesight" to see what the fuck is going on at a fief...this magic vision shit from 300,000 kilometers away needs to go.
