Main charcter

I had no main charcter when I crated my charcter and it tells me I cant make the charcter i'm using right now main....

Is there anyway to fix this or making the charcter im playing my main ? He's lvl 30 and I dont really want to start all over again 

Can I make him main after retirement??

Is there any role set under your character name? Click on the name on the upper left part, you will see tab with all your chars and their roles. What is written on the one you want to make main?

I click on the Alternate charcter and it's saying this role can never be changed :/

That means I cant have a main )

You can, however you are not able to make the alt your main. You can create new char and make that one your main. Also you might try to ask Meow on IRC/here if he could help you out, i heard he is pretty good at it.
