Bug or intended.. Seems like an exploit : /

So DL_Anders attacked a Hospitaller Village, But he dropped 5 crap items into the village before attacking it, once the gear was dropped he attacked, So now I'm guessing when the battle takes place there will be no default gear as he dropped those items there? Or am I just missing something.. bare in mind I have been drinking so sorry if I'm jumping to conclusions.

http://forum.meleegaming.com/diplomacy/a-challange-is-issued/

I also dropped in a peasant Tunic because I wanted to make sure I could give the required gear for the duel. I also added in 1 troop to cover the putting in of the gear i dropped.

It's part of the RP. You guys owe me money, so as the challenger i gave you everything(though not of good quality like a real duel challenger would win attempting to win ) even the soldier.

Also, it's not 'shit' gear. It's a plate armor set(albiet broken) plus a heavy bastard sword(also broken). I thought about it before I attacked and thought It'd be cool to have a neat little "duel" before the battle, and I bought the gear in the village. It's the same gear that I will be using(not broken, ofc) for the duel.

dont you have to be considered lightly armed or better to NOT receive the peasant gear?

Besides, you shouldnt be relying on free stuff anyways

Game mechanics state otherwise, But I did talk to anders and know where he is coming from, I kinda like the idea personally as it adds that whole "Troy" two hero's fighting to the death aspect. Originally I thought it was a cheap tactic to take a village with no resistance, But I am more than happy to admit to my irrational conclusion jumping.. again, I am a tad tipsy and should have known better and waited till the morning when that brain thingamabober could have been better suited to post on the forums.

Game mechanics state otherwise

If you have some gear, you just get less peasant gear. That's happened to us on more than one occasion. It's scaled, not boolean.

Next step, deposit 2000 Straw Hats.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.
