Hello there.

I was never able to use kicks in a fight, but i can see a lot of good players who kick constantly and this with a lot of success.
Maybe someone could give me some tips about it?

Kicking is something that comes with experience. There's no good way to practice it.

It's just something that develops with your experience and detection of movement patterns, whether it be patterns in general or patterns unique to certain players.

I've never had a good experience with a kick.

Either enemies just walk right through it, or I get shotgunned kicked from four feet away.

right mouse button + E and spam it as mutch as you can.
Works now, but will be semi-suicide when they give you non-beta guys the new features. Blocking when kicking is removed. Hence, why I don't kickspam.
This game isn't about being skillful as much as its about saying things in general chat that enrage people who then go to murder you but in their rage they make dumb mistakes which gets them killed.

Betaception.

Basically this.

Also, about making successful kicks :

1) Spot a onehander
2) Attack him with a right swing
3) Turn slightly to your left
4) Kick
5) Block right
6) ???
7) Profit

What tom said.

You have to learn when a player comes at you with killer intent, taking step forward and releasing a kick at just the right time can do wonders. But beware of experienced players, so study their movements first.

I have played shilder for 8 gens now and, its like Tom said, It comes when u have played alot of hours.

I dont se many onehander kick that muth, But i find extreamly effective :)    And when u have a mace and knockdown somone u hit them(knockdown) Then hit them when there on the ground, And when they get upp u kick them and hit again =d
