so I play sniper xbowman, so for me it is important to know - for no penalty my weight shoud be not more then 5 or 7,5 ?  by the way if i have more, how it will be calculeted? gloves and helmet 1? or chest, or all weight will became penalty?

And for no penalty, what items you will choose?
shooting at people from a reachable place as last man standing is not delaying. Even if you're on the other side of the map.

Don't go above 7.7 armor weight for range unless you have a lot of wpf. Gloves count as double helm as tripple. Every 1 weight above that is about a one percent decrease to your effective wpf.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.

helmet is kinda pointless for archers I think.  Most other archers are going to headshot thru a 20-40 armor helmet anyways.  Go for a 5 lb  30'ish body armor.

Yup, my helm is a felt cap for style points. Low upkeep, distinctive, zero weight and is worthless protection.

Hello! What exactly is "effective" wpf?

I've heard this, but I've heard it a bit differently.  I read that if you have 1 weight above 7.7 you get the TOTAL weight counted against your wpf.

For example, if I have 7.7 weight armor, but then take 1 weight boots, I will have 8.7% of my wpf reduced (because I"ve crossed the threshold.)

Is this the case?

Hello! What exactly is "effective" wpf?

The effective wpf is what you are utilizing, not what you have in theory. Naked you have say 150 wpf, but if your armor penalty takes away 10%, then your effective wpf is 135.
so If i have 5 weight chest, 0,5 gloves, and 0.8-1 boots it is ok?
yes.

Tests show differently for range, so I do not believe that is correct.

Keep in mind that supposedly the wpf penalties for range are different then that for melee (start at different numbers etc) according to some people.
