Terrible pings in EU servers

I just logged on to play and noticed my ping was at ~150 on EU servers, I have not changed anything since I last played, other than getting a new keyboard and headset.
I tested my internet and it was at a normal 10 mbit/s.
I have the same problem in native, but only on some servers like ZHG TDM, where I have ~40 ping usually, but I now have 350.
My ping in US and CN servers has not changed.
I tried restarting my computer but nothing changed.

EDIT: I had normal ping for a bit, but when the map changed I got the terrible ping back.
My ping is now in the 200-300 range.
EDIT: Same thing happened again, I played for a bit then I got 200 ping out of nowhere.
I did logon to TS briefly before playing, maybe it has something to do with that?

I've been having ping issues with this game (with any mod) for more than a year now. It must be with certain ISP's or something, I really don't know. But it's exasperating. I cannot play with a ping of 150-180.

Never had any problems like this before, but my neighbours have been tampering with the lines recently, so maybe it's just that.

What value do you have in the line "use_secure_connection" in the file "rgl_config.txt"? Now I recall being forced to change it to "0" (maybe a year ago) because, otherwise, I just couldn't connect to any servers.

I would like to have more people's opinion on this, since this setting might be the cause - I just can't think of anything else!

I restarted everything (modem, router...) and it seems to work good now, will test it extensively and let you know, atm 60ish ping (somewhat ok considering number of people)

I get 40-50 ping usually, but sometimes I just get horrendous ping spikes to like 200 - 300. I have it down to playing via the iCloud but if that is the case, why is it happening to everyone else as well?

Same here, lately at peak hours it goes  from 130 to 180 and then at some point in the 22h`s hour more or less it goes to 100 and keep going down to 90-100 till server dies in the night.

Seen other persons from spain with different isp`s and connections types have almost same ping at peak hours (130-140). These are people that have 80-90 or less at other times.

Sometimes (when I have lag on the EU servers) I have less ping in the NA servers than in the EU ones.

I've played this game for 1,5+ years without any ping problems.
I've always had a very stable ping around 45.

But recently, like 1-2 (maybe more) weeks back I sometimes get a high (50-100+) and also unstable ping.

I'll see how it goes for some more weeks. Dunno what's the cause but it's probably my ISP...

I usually play with 50-60 ping on any EU server, sometimes I've got not very long lag&ping spikes.

But last times I get 140-200 along with some people on EU servers, at the same time and for longer periods.
Usually it's sometime about 6:00 - 9:00 UTC (Or 8:00 - 11:00 UTC +2 as of my timezone).

Since the number of people affected by this issue keeps growing and these people live in different countries and have different ISP's, I assume that the problem is related to the game (I have an abnormal ping in other mods as well) and certain ISP's.

I already sent an email to chadz about this issue long time ago, he just ignored it. Take it easy guys, the problem isnt your ISP. The issue is in the Server's Host network. You know, not every connection from the world reaches their network by the same gateway. Seems like one of their routers get really busy, are doing some kind of throtling or the hardware is fucked up. Maybe a combination of both. Anyway, the only person who can do something about its chadz or the person in charge of server renting. They are paying for a service that is not that good for some. Just that.
