As some of you may know, couple of cRPG pubbers and myself are trying to gather as many public randomers as possible for a, mostly, but not limted to siege mode, "clan".

We all know how easy it is to steamroll a server when you got 10+ clanmembers in same team, but every once in a while a problem emerges: Other clan starts joining server at same time and what happens? Both clan's multi suffers for number of maps(rounds) until they decided they had enough of this injustice and massively rage quit(usually on beginning of round so that the team they left is screwed for at least one more round).

However, I got a solution!: Let's just make a schedule for EU2 Siege server so we never run into eachother. Perfect solution to grind that lovely x5!

I think my guys could have morning hours on mondays, than evening on thursdays... heck, we could probably take the boring hours of afternoon sometimes.

Kulin, shut the fuck up.

How thick need one be to not get Kulin's point? :p

Autobalancer is incapable of taking into account the merged value of individuals and classes which cooperate on a large scale. Now, this isn't that big an issue when there are a bunch of smaller clans on both teams but when fifteen or twenty players bunch up under the same banner and start rolling together, they have by default an advantage over the other team that will need to form its own mob to counter it, a mob of strangers who can't possibly have the same experience of working with one another, the same faith and trust in one another, the same commitment to the fight.

It's a challenge to beat a clan stacked team, often requireing that the clan fucks up or that the public team outdoes itself.

I don't really have a solution to this issue. Autobalance does work. Just can't take into account every possible factor.

How about the simple idea of having the banner balance only work if the numbers of (same) banners to balance would be about equal for both teams?

Or, if people insist to have banner balance, make the player cost for additional clan members in your team grow exponentially. The first five clan members are "for free", the next one takes 2 player slots, the seventh takes 3, the 8th takes 4, the 9th 5 and the 10th takes 6. With the 17 Greys of the first screen it would mean they would have the value of 88 randomers, if I didn't calculate wrong. Which means they would represent the whole team and everyone else would be fighting them.

In my eyes clans are meant a) for strategus or b) to play together with friends, and NOT to milk pubs by default. Sharing the banner with a lot of other people should not make the game easier, automatically.
Joker makes a very good point.

The fun starts when there is alot of clanners on the server, and the opposition is good.
Best rounds are  even and hardwon

just imagine the massive GTX if the shedule was broken by a mob of newcomer...

I wanna see the hate!!
So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

This sarcasm fails because we all know kulin_ban is a meanie

Edit :

After actually reading the topic, this doesn't really surprise me.

Look what they did to my dream.
Just gimme fried chicken.
There's only one solution.
Occupy multi.

Also, I thought the new lolbalance was more prone to splitting big stacks.

It split big stacks if there are more than 1/3 of people with the same banner.

Also, you can't blame the clans for trying to work as a team (thus win a lot). Problem lies in randoms who goes rambo or do some weird shit, not with organized gameplay.

Main problem with balance is that it don't split randoms, but move most of them to one team.
