I never understood this? What is wrong with the driving in GTA 4? The game has awesome physics and the cars have proper weight to them. You can pull of amazing handbrake turns and they are oh so satisfying. Much better than the Mario Kart driving you had in the previous GTA's. I just love cruising through town with my music on taking them turns like a boss in GTA 4.

I loved grabbing that R/T Charger lookalike car, even without the handbrake it was like controlling a boat on water.
