EDIT: Nevermind, fixed!

Map problem:

When someone is behind the name of a fief, their name won't pop up.  In the picture below to find the neutral behind the Rivacheg text, I had to click through the list of people until the map centered on him. 

There's also a battle behind the button for Vezin and the people involved in it don't show up on the list of people you can spot.  I was able to find the battle in the upcoming battles tab on the website because of the blue clan color but if neutrals were fighting it'd be hard to find out which battle it was.

Thoughts on map:

It's easier to see actual positions of people on the map, which is good.  Compared to the old version though it does look a little too technical for my taste without all the peasant and fief grfx cluttering up the map.  Everything just looks a lot flatter so it'll take some time to get used to.  I don't care for the shapes behind the fief names either.  It might look better to take out the shapes, increase the size of the text and then add more drop shadow.  On the pic above you can see the Rivacheg text is just a pink blob.  Here's an example of the old version with the same color text where I think it stands out a lot better:

It'd also be nice if there was an option to bring up all the pop-ups with names/numbers at once, like in the old version.

One thing that is need is chorts old break up for the info and transfers menu. I know when the new multi transfer system was introduced that it messed it up a bit so when ever that comes back the thing is going to be pretty awesome.

Also as I mentioned in irc a system for marking the map for your clan mates would be great. Writing things like "DRAGONS BE HERE!" and safe trade lanes would be excellent.

A solution to the problem noted by Knute is to deselect Town name.

Up the top there are 4 tickable boxes.

Faction
Town
Neutrals
Scroll bar

If you deselect town you will be able to click all over the fief icon and where the name normally is.

I personally don't like how large the fief pictures are when you enter them on one pixel of the map.  The time it takes for a large army to cross from one side of a Town to the other can easily be 4-6 hours.  Even with my almost 17 meters/min march speed, the length between the edge of a towns graphic and the far side is hours.  I think the graphics should go back to their original size.

There doesnt seem to be a way to queue up a march and ENTER into another village without coming back and clicking on the 'you are in the vicinity of...'.  Or am I missing something?

With Eyecandy, you could like on a village in the distance and it would have option to enter or attack.  If you clicked enter it would start you marching there and enter when you got in range

The checkboxes at the top right were getting unchecked when you re-connected to the strat overview...I had the same issue myself.  The names will come back if you check the box for "towns"
