I'm not sure why a middlemann was needed anyway. crpg has a small and nice community and actually trades are safe plus you can trust most guys and admins would also help you in certain cases.
cRPG community is shit. I've had three people welch and one person try to welch on wager duels. Funniest one was the Hospergler who went 0-4, then refused to pay, and said I only won because of the weapon I was using (Nodachi, one of the worst 2h's for dueling). He then said he would only pay if I could beat him with a different weapon. I used his longsword and killed him and he still refused to pay for a while. I also like Neo_Qc agreeing to best of 7, going 0-3, then GTXting the server and never finishing the series.
cool stories bro If you only wager duel after both parties have given money to the middleman it would prevent welching, but, eh, it's probably too much effort for most. If I'm ever around when you need one, though, I wouldn't mind.
