Connection problem and name in use.

Howdy.
Often when I try to log into one of the EU servers, I get the message "Connection to server is lost" or something like that. Then I tries one more time, and get the message "Character name already in use".
Someone know why this happens or if I can fix it?

This has happened ever since the beginning of cRPG, as far as I can remember. It still happens to me from time to time.
