Would improve teamplay perhaps, which is good.

But the fact that you have a minimap which you can look at instead of looking around you would change the game completely.
It would "dumb down" crpg and make it easier.

Personally I would like to see banners above heads of people removed so you can't tell the difference between friends and foes.
That would really improve teamplay as people would maybe change equipment accordingly and stick together more.

How would you know if its a friendly tincan or enemy? Friendly or hostile peasant...? You can only do that if you remove all armours except for heraldic and always the teams banner is shown on it.

The less UI the better imo. This sounds like something WotR could have in their system

No thanks.

If you can't find the enemy by looking around, then you missed him.

No just because I like playing the game without that kind of thing.

I get where you're coming from though. It would dumb the game down too much for me though and would clash with how the game presents itself which is a medieval fighting game but it has radar.. hmm.

As much as I would like to see better teamplay in the game - I often lose my teammates - I don't want a minimap ingame. Thats some modern shit, not medieval!
The logic of war seems to be that if a belligerent can fight he will fight.
