Lol that's the community. Not part of the game.
Did you ever even play cRPG ? Or you're here just for the trolling ? Do i really need to start listing all the fantasy crap in this game and add the comments we get when we try to propose moving in the realistic direction ? I'm certain you read suggestion & balance threads as well.
For me this game is fantasy and will remain so until someone comes in and says "Ok now its enough with this crap, yes Its Calradia but its more then obvious its based on Human history with only names of factions twisted and yes, we'll balance items as they should be looking in reality instead of changing their stats according to the forum whiners who get owned because they cant use what little brains they have so they blame "balance" for their defeats".
Balance by Realism Berenger, I believe its possible but it's still not happening because the lobbyism from the other side is too strong. This game is supposed to be based on teamwork just like it used to be in medieval times. Weapons they used were anything but "balanced" but every weapon has its purpose and when it was used in a proper way supported by teamwork everything was just fine. cRPG's biggest problem is that there is too many duelers who just want to be able to solo everything and games is based on them. A guy with a 2handed sword going solo to the battlefield wouldn't last more then 30 seconds while in cRPG he can do wonders - dismount and kill cavalry charging at him, avoid them, avoid projectiles, hit shielders through their block, swing faster then smaller weapons, etc, etc AND above all that - take 5 arrows to the chest and two additional swings from a cut weapon before slicing his opponent down (yes, we could make such list for any other class as well). For me that's fantasy (tho i don't really blame anyone, engines limitations are something that devs of this mod cannot influence, tho they should maybe thrive to at least remove the unrealistic stuff they can, no matter the balance).
P.S. Just to edit my post before further misunderstanding: I'm not trying to say that cRPG is the same kind of fantasy like any other MMORPG cause its obviously not but I'm sick of people rejecting good propositions with same poor excuse over and over: "Fuck realism, this is Calradia not Earth" while on the other hand they say this is a "realistic game" when it suits them. How convenient.
