strat fight npc defense

I know this has been said before but something needs to be done about how and who is picked. I signed up not picked. but it takes an army of EU to defend an NA castle. seems wrong... a good number of them did not even show up.

I have a 10 reliability and generally do very well in the fights. The picking mech needs to balane on who is reliable and better. And try and pick people with low ping. This is not the first time this has happened to me.

I do agree the acceptance formula could use some tweaking.

There should be severe penalties for a reliability under 7 or a performance under 3.  There is no way that people consistently getting KDRs like 2-40 should keep getting accepted into battles even if their reliability is a 10.

Leaving the battle early/showing up late should ding you in reliability too, if it doesn't already.

Agreed. Although I think more important then this is that someone needs to be done to how the npcs pick weapons. At the very least priest robes should be added to the blacklist, since they arent worth the price. Also, just because something is more expensive doesn't mean its better. A good example of this is for one handers, I often see LEE in NPC inventory, and steel picks are basically the go to weapon for strat since the attackers almost always have plate armor. There are other examples of this, like the 2h selection of danish greatswords AND heavy great swords, which pretty much do the same thing.

We had to select where we spawned at the start EU/NA so if that could be used as a guide then perhaps it could preference first by EU/NA and then by reliability...???

agreed signed up then 5 mins before battle gets put on the applied list instead of confirmed for some ppl with 500 ping and a 0 kill 20 death

Make it so that ppl who sign up for defense have to show up in duel b4 the fight. Have a 30 min window that the people who show up that signed up for the ai side is picked in the order they joined the server in.

should take more consideration of who is online or active on forums/website/in-game 15 mins before battle.

just make it so that it doesnt accept anyone untill 30 min b4 the battle but if ur not in duel 15 min b4 then u get replaced

And anyone who's spectator will be given the option to join the AI side if after 5 or 10 minutes (depending on size of the battle) someone didn't show up for the AI.  This would only work for AI defense.

I'm not massively in favor this one just because that person will be getting into the battle with a pretty big advantage, well an advantage that will last about 3min but enough to completely wreck an attack.

I think it's better than the AI having 80 people while the attackers have 50.  That's just too outnumbered.  It should be based more on the numbers of defenders vs attackers (The ticks) for how many in game people you have on a team.
