You're really unlucky, as well as losing gold on x5 where you get 250 gold each minute.
Btw bodkin arrows are meant to get repaired quite often. With nearly 400 gold upkeep they can get really expensive. If you need to save gold somewhere, you can use cheaper arrows, e.g. normal arrows or barbed arrows. Their upkeep is low and you get more arrows per stack, at the same time they deal cut damage so they're a bit weaker agains heavy armor guys compared to bodkins, but after all cut is often the better type of dmg. A good deal are Tatars probably.
Unless you loomed your Langes Messer already, there are far better deals with 1h/2h weapons with less upkeep costs and similar stats, such as "Fighting Axe" with 32 cut dmg and only 236 gold repair (or "Mace" with 28 blunt and 295 repair).
As Muki said, you probably need more wpf. If you've put all your wpf points in Archey, you likely repair your bow less. The arrows don't really care about that (afaik), as they get repaired more often anyway and for the 1h you need melee wpf.
