Bows, Accuracy, and Rank.

So, I've read about a bit, and on a number of posts people have said that for every bow damage on the item, it reduces it's accuracy by 1.

My question is, does this hold true for ranks as well? Does looming a bow, which upgrades it's damage, then lower it's accuracy per damage? I realize +2, and +3 each get +1 accuracy, but does that then mean that due to the first loom, the MW bow actually loses 1 accuracy overall compared to it's vanilla counterpart?

Also, if you could equate a point of Accuracy to a wpf scale, what would it be?

Thanks in advance.

Bows don't lose accuracy when loomed. They just get more accurate.

False. An unheirloomed bow is more accurate than a fully loomed one.

You've read right NeoZecks, accuracy is decrease for every base damage of the bow.

But you'll still want to heirloom the bow, since the missile speed increase and damage totally makes up for the slight decrease in accuracy.

Ah, thanks a lot.

Alright, any idea about the wpf relationship to accuracy rating?

Is there any cap for effective wpf in archery? Or the more is always the better?

The cap is a closed reticule, I assume. Any more wpf and we get target seeking arrows.

Well, another question - what a standart archer 18/21 is supposed to do at 31-34 lvls? Increase PD or athletics and WM?
I suppose, its better to increase agi, but just to make sure...
thank you.

It entirely depends on what you wish you had more of. I personally made a 24/21 archer, but my counterparts in the clan (other level 33 archers) made 21/24 builds as they desired more accuracy.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.

There is an effective cap, but remember it factors in EVERYTHING. If you want to hit an accuracy cap, try no more than PD 4 with a Tatar Bow. At around 175 wpf the accuracy is nearly pinpoint. I run with 170 though. Still almost pinpoint.
If you go up to a Rus bow with PD 6 though, I don't think you can possibly get enough wpf to make it pinpoint. You will always have some innacuracy.

My build will be 15/27 and 170 wpf at lvl 34. Putting the extra wpf into melee at that end. If you get more str/pd, you blow your accuracy you worked so hard to get. The nice thing about this build is I can wear full plate and my accuracy is still good enough for 50% accuracy at mid-range. The trade-off is I can tank 4-5 hits instead of dying to a single horse bump  If I get tired of missing, I just drop the armor and can machine gun fire accuracy at full range.

Thanks, and another quiestion appeared.
If you shoot in 3 personw view, your reticule is actually a bit lower than it is shown on the screen. Is there any way to fix it or I just need more practice to overcome this thing?
