Bystanders

Basically a NPC, wearing peasant clothes minding his own business. On town maps.

On open plains they can ride horses, like traveling traders.

Killing them would mean -1 kill.

Would help actual peasant players a lot, they could blend with NPCs like true ninjas :)

What do you think?

Put animals like cows, sheeps or horse running round on open plains would be cool

Yeah, of course. It is a well known fact that non-combatants prefer to stay in the streets instead of locking themselves in and hiding in the relative safety of their homes when their town is about to get sacked. It was just like in Street Fighter 2 where they were cheering on the fighters.

I've never played a server where people split up as much or as often as on EU1.  No wonder range is having a field day.

Random bots would be funny, but why not simply some of the "special" bots from Defend the Virgin? They (maybe random number) should only appear like in every 1000th map on one team, so they don't get annoying.

Why do you have to get -1 for killing them? Would ruin all the fun.

Why do you have to get -1 for killing them? Would ruin all the fun.

Quite the contrary.

Whole point of negative kill point is to make the certain discipline more popular in cRPG.

And that's competition who will make lowest possible score. Currently that's only possible in Rageball if I'm not mistaken. On battle you can try to grief your teammates but that will get you banned and on siege you're also risking ban if you suicide a bit too much.

This way, players will be able to have some fun and maybe even help their team a bit to avoid admin warnings.
