yeah it's a game...what's your point?  There's a duel server if you want honor.  With multi's on the line, people should be doing whatever they can (within the rules of the game) to win the round.

thats not my opinion. highest goal is the joy of playing the game,  and that can be achieved for the broadest spectrum of players by not behaving socially retarded.

edit:  and btw,  having a high dishonor ranking would go well with people that rp a mean char.

wouldnt it be cool to get this for being dishonorable:

not spawnraping.  nice.

edit
I`d say the honor should be linked to the voice commands and maybe the shading of your characters equipment.

high honor-clear voices, bright equipment.
dishonor   -darth vader shit going on and dark equipment.

I'm not so sure about dishonor. Some people might try to have dishonorable characters, so that will encourage them to not contribute to the team.

Honor and dishonor are the best concepts invented for the one side to get the other side to lose.

Can't get behind this suggestion: in a siege or a battle, everyone in combat is fair game to be killed.

Contributing to the team goes beyond honorable or dishonorable activities: it ties into basic survival.  Think about what happens if you lose the battle or siege: better hope the dungeon has central heating.

I just don't really find that honor and dishonor applies to battle.

Everything is fair in the game of war, the winner is the one standing at the end, not the honorous or dishonorous one.

In the end, if the dishonorous one wins, he's the one standing and alive, able to claim victory, so was it really worth it for the honorous guy just to keep that "honor"? He's dead, he doesn't care about honor anymore.
