Since your currently magicing things how about this (I'm sure it's already been discussed)
Add blunt damage for point black hilt strikes with 2h swords and add an additional bonus if it's done with an over head. So when a face huger gets point blank on a 2h user with a sword the 2h user can use and over head to perform a pommel strike that (if doable) gives the same effect as a punch.
