Inflation isn't bad because it affects everyone equally.  Even if you have a shitty item it will go up in value.  Even if you have no looms, your next loom point will sell for more.

Tax is bad because it only affects people who sell.  Also, it hurt people who are poor more than people who are rich.

.
1H stab is the fastest, strongest and longest 1H animation. There's no reason NOT to use it in all instances. I don't know if it's OP, but it's boring. 1H used to be fun because you had a fast (left), long (right) and the most devastating attack (stab) and had to choose the best attack for each occasion.

Also wiping out the formerly liquid item to currency market and reducing it to complicated bartering doesn't help poor/newbies much either

Bear in mind that a fair number of trades nowadays are up with an accompanying requirement of an heirloom point.

I doubt that graph is taking into account the price of the heirloom points, given the liquidity of that asset.

The graph is the sale of heirlooms for gold only (so it claims) so really heirloom -> gold & loom point shouldn't be reflected in the graph.

I'm just happy I have pretty much everything I could ever want, now I'm just trying to liquidate things I don't need into gold & loom points and sit on a pile of it until things even out.

Newbies just got fucked.

I think its more of the fact that enough people don't play this game. People looking to sell don't wan't to get screwed so they have their prices too high and most people looking to buy want a good deal. Because of this we have to use this antiquated system of personally contacting the person and haggling out a deal. This is not like the real world where there is trillions of dollars in the marketplace and a near unlimited supply of people buying and selling.

On top of that, I would guess most people already have their main/boring/standard gear loomed up (ex. kuyak and dgs) so they aren't looking to sell and noone is looking to buy it. That leaves "rare"/interesting items like a goedendag, bar mace, etc that when people are looking to get rid of them, they feel entitled to large sums of gold

People started selling x3 items for 2.5 million gold. Prices are again going up, not down.

Golds sinks won't fix anything.

Only way is to completely remove gold from marketplace.
