It was me and it was deleted because of a lack of interest from the community. The consensus was that instead of paying dev's for a free mod, that it would be preferred to make the mod "open source" and allow people to work on it in their spare time. If that was done, they would certainly need to have some sort of version control and testing...which might add more work for devs. I guarantee they don't want someone to fuck up their mod, and still carry the cRPG name.
I personally think the idea of a multiplayer version of native single player is such a great idea that I'd be willing to spend my own money to get dev's to make it a better/more playable game. And I know others out there would be willing to as well (even though the majority would probably not be willing to do so).
I really wished project asinus was going to be the dev's pulling strategus from cRPG and making it a completely new stand-alone game (or mod). I'd put up money on kickstarter for something like that...
Fuck space bullshit...unless it's dogfighting in star wars spacecraft
