I'll wait with heaven&Hearth until their follow up, Salem, arrives.

What made you not play Wurm? (Haven't tried it yet).

Gotta be honest, I've been playing H&H for 1 to 2 years before since the very first multiplayer and it just updated slower than the slowest snail that you shouldn't even bother following Salem. (Although H&H was really excellent being with the strongest towns all around with endless raids. (Wayneville, Circle of Phoenix, Sodom, Pandemona and so on) Then everyone quit the game after those.  :P)

Unfortunately, Haven and Hearth quickly becomes a MASSIVE grind.

im playing h&h atm, trying to get further than i did last time so much of the game I have not played, because its way too grindy. often just way fucking too complicated or painstaking. parts of the game I love, parts I seriously hate. also seems like the game is only really fun after a wipe, right now whole world is covered in claims.

you shouldn't have to grind for months to buy skills that allow you to play the game (pvp etc.) so game is kind of more restrictive than any other. I do look forward to trying salem but so many things plain wrong with H&H which wont change.

i used to play call of combat a lot, but very long time ago. at that time it was a game that really needed a lot of skill, even after a few months you couldn't call yourself a good player.

haven't played it for maybe 3-4 years so i dunno what is the current stage. at the time when i quit the game they made some changes i disliked that made the game easier for newbies (easier sniping...).

basicly everybody controls a squad of 4 men in a multiplayer battle where u try to outflank the enemy or rush his weakened positions by nading to get your men into better firing spots. there is a lot of teamwork and organization involved in this game. if commander says there some battle plan, everybody just does it with almost no exceptions.

if u give it a try please PM me what the current state of the game is, ty
