Some questions I have about strategus

I have looked for the answers to these questions, but didn't find that much, so if someone could answer them for me it'd be much obliged.

1) What happens to equipment and horses on the battlefield once the battle is over?

2) What is a "hero"?

3) When you join a strategus fight can you use your own equipment that you have bought? Or do you have to use the equipment in the commanding officer's inventory?

4) What happens to the losing side's leftover equipment?

5) I heard you get a lot more XP in strat fights then you do for normal fights. Is this true? And if so how much more?

You lose the horse, Equipment is keep

You

You use what the Officer Equipemnt. He has to Craft the equipment for you (that why everyone crazy for chadz Text (ATHW text)

4) What happens to the losing side's leftover equipment?
The Winning side gets the equipment

5) I heard you get a lot more XP in strat fights then you do for normal fights. Is this true? And if so how much more?
Avg 6k xp per a tick (a Tick in Strat is 2 mins) Xp may change depends on your performance on the battlefield
