I'm bidding for a thick buckler and when ever I put anythingin, there is a bid for 1 gold more of what I did... I put in random amounts too, as in +23, +11 and so on. But somehow it went 1 over what ever I did...

Same here. But I guess this is a marketplace feature, we didn't get.
