Would be nice to have the maps randomized once a week so that we're not always playing the same maps in the same rotation.

you mean every week different maps? i think we simply dont have enough maps for that.
about the order in witch the maps are, i didnt really notice yet wich map follows wich map.

No, it would be the same maps, but mix up the rotation (order) that they are played.

I think the current map rotation sucks (2 or 3 different times you play 3 or 4 really "enclosed" maps in a row). Would be nice to just have different order of maps every week or two, and I can't imagine it's very hard to randomize the rotation.

This should be a pretty obvious suggestion that I can't see any non-technical reason why it wouldn't be implemented.

As always, the map rotation has grown stale. I'm starting to wonder if the maps voted with QMU and QMD actually get looked at, and there seems to be a shortage of plains maps. Regardless, something like this would be great...

Having QMU and QMD be used for taking maps out of the rotation (or keeping them in) would be nice, but we'd run out of maps eventually

They said it was being used for a while, but I don't know if that's still the case.

Either way, Jacko said he randomized the map lists on NA1 and NA2, I wish there was a way to have them randomize the current map's in the rotation more often so we don't always know the next 3 maps that are coming up.

But this time an actual plain map, not a "hill mountain hill hill hill mountain mountain hill map" and call it random plains
